Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-30
This policy explains what LogicTest (https://logictest.app, “the site”) collects, how we use it, and what you can do about it. It covers only information collected through this site.
What we collect
- Account details — the email address you register with. Passwords are never stored in plain text; we keep only a salted PBKDF2 hash, from which the password cannot be recovered.
- Google sign-in details — if you sign in with Google we receive your email address, whether that address is verified, and a Google account identifier (sub). Those three things only. We do not read your Gmail, contacts, Drive, or any other Google data (see below).
- Usage data — your test records (when you started, what you picked for each question, whether it was right, how long it took), your review list, and your practice history. These are what make “see your history” and “practise what you got wrong” possible.
- Technical logs — IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visited and when. Used for traffic statistics, debugging, and preventing abuse.
We do not collect your real name, phone number, postal address, or payment details — the site is currently free and has no payment provider connected.
Google sign-in
Signing in with Google requests three basic scopes only: openid, email, profile. We use the email address to create or find your account here, and the Google account identifier to remember which Google account maps to which account on this site.
If you had already registered here with the same address and Google reports that address as verified, the two are merged into a single account, so your history and review list are not lost.
You can revoke this site’s access at any time from your Google account permissions page. After revoking you will no longer be able to sign in with Google, but your account and data remain — use “forgot password” to set a password and carry on.
How we use it
- Running the service: signing you in, serving questions, marking answers, keeping your history and review list
- Sending account-related email (currently only password resets)
- Measuring traffic and feature usage so we can improve the product
- Detecting and preventing abuse, scraping, and fraud
- Complying with a legal requirement to disclose
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies. After you sign in we set a cookie named lt_user to keep you signed in, valid for 30 days, with HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Signing out clears it.
There is no advertising and no ad-tracking cookie on this site, and no third-party advertising or social media pixel. Your browser may also keep a draft of your answers locally (localStorage) so a page refresh doesn’t lose them; that stays on your device and is never uploaded.
Third-party services
The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers and the D1 database), so your requests pass through Cloudflare’s network and data is stored in its database service. Password-reset email is sent through an email provider. When you use Google sign-in, the sign-in step is handled by Google. Each of those services’ own privacy policies govern the part they handle.
Retention
Your account and learning records are kept for as long as your account exists. How long technical logs are kept depends on Cloudflare’s log policy, and is generally short. A password-reset token expires after 30 minutes and can be used only once.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you, and to restrict or object to certain processing. If you are in the European Economic Area (GDPR) or California (CCPA), among others, you also have the rights your local law grants, including “do not sell my personal information” — which, as above, we do not do in any case.
There is currently no self-service delete button. To delete your account and all its data, email support@logictest.app and we will handle it within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes
This policy may be updated; when it is, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes. We will flag significant changes on the site.
